Each child’s tuition is an ongoing fee, which may be separated into weekly, and biweekly payments. ALL TUITION MUST BE PAID ON MONDAY MORNING OF THE WEEK IT IS DUE. NOTE: Tuition is required if your child attends or does not attend, as long as the child is enrolled in the program.

Penalty Charges

Late Payment Penalty of $5.00 per day will be charged if payment is late.

There will be a $10.00 service charge for all returned checks, in addition to a $5.00 late payment fee per day. If the client takes care of the check before it is returned to the center; the account will not be billed a late payment fee. When the Center receives three returned checks from a client, we will no longer accept checks as a method of payment from that client. Returned checks must be paid out before another check is taken.

Delinquent Accounts

If accounts are two weeks or more delinquent, the Center Director has the right to stop services. All unpaid accounts will be turned over to a collection agency. Parents will be notified prior to this procedure. Any balances left unsettled will be sent to On Line Collections after 30 days.

Withdrawal from Daycare

A two-week written notice is required for withdrawal from the daycare. Following such notification, tuition will be charged for two weeks or until the date specified, if beyond two weeks.

Open Door Policy
Parents have welcome access to the child care facility at all times. Welcome access shall be defined as a parent having access to areas of the facility available to their child in a non disruptive to normal daily activities. Grandparents are allowed to stop by anytime. I also encourage parents to call me so I can update them on how their child is doing.

Emergency Protocol

In the event of an emergency the center will relocate to the nearest Church. In the event of a dangerous situation, all emergency numbers are posted in each room.I have an emergency kit for each child which contains extra clothes, water for 3 days, food, pampers, baby wipes, flash lights, batteries, and blankets.

Discipline is a way of teaching. When you use positive discipline, for example, you will stop a negative behavior and teach the child what you’d like him to do. Punishing the child will stop the negative behavior, but it will not teach him the right thing to do. Our discipline policy is directed toward teaching children acceptable behavior and building children's self-esteem.

We are not allowed to spank a child. Physical punishment is not acceptable at Inspiring Kids. Many parents feel badly about resorting to hitting their children and are anxious or at least open to learning methods of effective, loving discipline.
To those parents I offer some alternatives, please visit this page: Methods of effective, loving discipline

Personal Items
Parents it is important that all personal items be labeled with your child's name (first and last initials). This includes blankets, bottles, pacifiers, diaper bags/book bags, jackets, socks/any extra article of clothing. Some times parents go to the same store and buy the same things.

Nap Time Schedule for 1 year old and up

We put down the children between 1:00 p.m.-1:15p.m. and let them sleep till 2:45pm. Most of them fall asleep by 1:30pm. Each child will have their own bed, sheets, and pillow. Sheets are changed on a daily basis We have two rooms available for nap time.  I have beds and cribs.

Outdoor Play
When weather permits, we will go outside."If weather (forecasters) say it's dangerous, we just don't go outside. You will need to dress your child appropriately every day.  We will apply sunscreen lotion and bug wipes on all children during summer.

Field Trips
All ages are welcomed. Parents can come to.

Birthday Party
I do allow you to bring cake and treats. We love to decorate for parties.

If someone other than the parents will be picking up your child, I need to be inform right away, either by phone or face to face, or written notice. If I haven't met this person, or if your child can't recognize this person, they will need to show me some form of ID.

Leave of Absence (Need Written Notice)
If the need arises that your child must take a leave of absence(for example: maternity leave, winter lay-offs,etc), I charge a percentage (50%) of your weekly rate to hold your child's spot. I will, however, not hold it for more than four weeks. If at the end of your leave you decide not to come back, a two-week notice will still need to be given and the full price will be charged for that two-weeks. You are welcome to find out if changing to less days works with me, but in doing so I will be looking for another family to fill in the opposite days you gave up. Then you take the chance of not having a full time spot again for the summer or whenever you need full time care again. I also give one week free of vacation time.

Nondiscriminatory Policy
In accordance with Federal law and U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, this
institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color,
religion, political party, national origin, sex, age, or disability.

I have read and understand the Parent Handbook and agree to abide by the policies and
procedures as stated. I have also participated in the parent conference with the Director.
